This class includes six, two hour session workshop to learn wheel throwing basics. This class runs SATURDAYS, July 11 through Aug 15 (12:00-2:00). All 6 classes are included in your ticket, along with 4 hours of independent studio time.

About the event
Join us for our 6 week Intermediate Wheel Class(SATURDAYS). We have our skilled instructor Aaron, who has just graduated with his masters in fine arts from Western Michigan University. Take this class with him to gain confidence on the wheel!
Week 1, students will be wedging, centering, and pulling walls. The goal is to get confident at pulling a straight cylinder with at least 4 inch walls. Week 2, drinking vessels will be covered as we continue with cylinders. Aaron will give a demo on more cup forms as well as pulling handles. Week 3, students will move on to bowls as they put more intention into their forms. They will "breathe volume" into their cylinders to achieve a bowl shape. Week 4 is vases. This ticket includes SIX class sessions, clay & glaze, as well necessary materials. Students will eventually take home up to 8 pieces. 4 total hours of independent studio time included as well.
