About the event
Join us for our 2 session beginner wheel class with Christy! Christy is a talented instructor with a concentration In ceramics in her major program in college, and continues making beautiful and functional pottery with her time and talent.
For this course, you will get two 2 hour classes for the total price of $115. (July 14 (11-1) & July 16 (11-1)).
In class one, get a live demo of wedging, centering, opening, and pulling. Afterward you give it your best go! It's a great hands - on learning experience where you will get to ask questions as you practice. The beginner class will focus on forms such as cylinder, bowls, or saucer shapes. Could be a great shape for a pot if you add a simple hole!
In class two, you will take your 1-2 favorite pieces from the first session and learn how to trim on the wheel.…
