About the event
Join us for our 2 session beginner wheel class with Shawn! Shawn is one of our talented instructors who has taken classes at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts and been doing ceramics for 5+ years. For this course, you will get two, two hour classes for the total price of $115. (July 7 (11-1) & July 9 (11-1)).
In class one, get a live demo of wedging, centering, opening, and pulling. After your instructor finishes then you will get to give it your best go! It's a great hands - on learning experience where you will get to ask questions as you practice. The beginner class will focus on forms such as cylinder, bowls, or saucer shapes. Could be a great shape for a pot if you add a simple hole! In class two, you will take your 1-2 favorite pieces from the first session and learn how to trim…

This ticket includes TWO class sessions, clay & glaze, as well necessary materials. Students will eventually take home 1-2 pieces.
